House Concurrent Resolution 130

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE MONTH OF APRIL AS MISSISSIPPI FIRE FIGHTER'S MEMORIAL BURN CENTER MONTH.

WHEREAS, in recognition of the valiant members of Mississippi fire departments across the state and their many friends and supporters and for the purpose of promoting uniformity of efforts and to provide greater organization in their fund drives to assist the Mississippi Fire Fighter's Memorial Burn Center:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby establish and designate the month of April as Mississippi Fire Fighter's Memorial Burn Center Month and encourage citizens throughout the state to actively support and contribute to the Mississippi Burn Center.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to the Mississippi Fire Fighter's Memorial Burn Center and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
